How can we bring essential healthcare services closer to home in Switzerland’s aging population context?
This was the central question posed by our sponsors — Aveniq, Die Post, and PwC — during the InCube Challenge, a five-day global innovation competition where multidisciplinary teams design solutions to real-world problems inside transparent “innovation cubes” in public spaces.

The InCube Challenge is a global innovation competition that is a launching pad for bright young minds venturing into entrepreneurship worldwide.
3-Stage Journey:
Prepcube: Virtual onboarding and challenge briefing
Outcube: Design thinking retreat and team formation
InCube: Five-day live sprint in a public glass cube, ending with a jury presentation to 500+ attendees (in person & online)
It's an intensive period, transforming concepts into thoroughly researched and developed pitches. The climax arrives on Friday, the Final Day, when solutions are presented before a jury and an audience of over 500, both in-person and online. Prizes are awarded by both the jury and the public.

Solution – PostCare
A two-part service bringing healthcare into local communities:
1. Telemedicine Kiosks – Operated by trained professionals, placed in Swiss Post offices to facilitate check-ups, remote consultations, and medical record access.
2. Digital Platform – Allows users to securely access their complete medical history and manage appointments from anywhere.
Leveraging the trust and accessibility of Swiss Post, PostCare makes preventive healthcare more convenient and integrated into daily life.
Impact
Developed and validated a service concept in under five days.
Winner of the Public Vote for best solution at InCube Challenge 2023.
Delivered a final pitch to an audience of 500+, including healthcare leaders and corporate sponsors.
Strengthened cross-disciplinary teamwork and public co-creation under high time pressure.



This experience sharpened my rapid innovation and co-creation skills, proving how design thinking can transform early ideas into viable service concepts within extremely tight deadlines. Working in a public cube challenged me to engage with passersby, refine ideas in real time, and communicate concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
