Partnerships Co-Lead (2024–2025)
Regional Scope: Mexico, Switzerland, and USA
For the 2024–2025 cycle, the YTB aimed to expand its reach into new regions and strengthen connections between global chapters. My challenge as Partnerships Co-Lead: secure high-value sponsors, lead partnerships across multiple countries, and deliver impactful local and global events.
Key Contributions:
Brought the SDN YTB Conference to Mexico City for the first time, co-creating a 3-day hybrid event with local and global partners.
Hosted 2 watch parties in Switzerland in collaboration with universities, expanding the event’s reach in Europe.
Secured partnerships with Accenture, Santander, BBVA, UNAM, and SDN Chapters across Mexico.
Helped secure sponsors for the SDN Global Conference 2025 in Dallas, USA.
Coordinated remotely with an international volunteer team and guided a partnerships sub-team.
Impact
350+ participants from universities, design agencies, and corporate innovation teams.
Expanded SDN’s presence in LATAM and Europe through in-person activations.
Strengthened SDN’s global network and secured ongoing partnerships for future events.
This role sharpened my multi-region stakeholder management skills and showed me how service design communities can grow through local relevance combined with global collaboration. I learned how to adapt communication and strategy for different cultural contexts while keeping the brand vision consistent.
